Relax into the New Year with this delightful musical yoga experience!
Journey up through the chakras as you relax in restorative poses, accompanied by live music that recalls the subtle sounds of each chakra. You will be gently guided into a pose for each chakra, accompanied by visualizations, affirmations, readings, and live music.
In Restorative Yoga, you will be invited to surrender into each pose, supported by blankets and pillows. The poses are held for a longer time than regular yoga, to allow the body to truly experience its benefits. Restorative yoga calms the nervous system, stimulates the immune system, and relaxes and refreshes you at a very deep level. The teachers will help you arrange blankets and find a comfortable, fully supported position. You can simply close your eyes, relax and let go.
Class size is limited to 10 so we can provide individualized attention. Be sure to register early to reserve your spot!
Please wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing and bring a pillow and blanket.
Teachers: Andra Denslow & Susan Kjesbo, both Certified Ananda Yoga Therapists. Andra is an experienced musician and performer on harp, tanpura and other instruments.
No yoga experience required – this is a fun way to experience one of the most deeply relaxing yoga practices available.
